Spring Trend Shopping at H&M at Montclair Place (sponsored post)

A few days ago I went shopping at H&M at

Montclair Place

, located in Montclair, CA.  I wanted to pick up some new items to refresh my wardrobe that fell under some key spring trends.

Lace Up Blouse

A lace up blouse is effortless, yet sexy.  I like how this one is in an army green which keeps it from being too girly.  I plan to wear this with skinny jeans and tan booties.

Shibori Indigo Print

Shibori indigo print is a great way to add a boho vibe to your look.  I plan to wear this with denim shorts and sandals.

High Neck Crop Top

High neck crop tops are a great way to escape the spring and summer heat.  I plan on wearing this with high waisted shorts and a statement necklace like the one below.

Tassel Statement Necklace

Jewelry with tassels gives any outfit a unique tribal touch.  I plan to wear this with a solid colored top or dress.

Be sure to pick up some of the spring trend items on your wish list at

Monclair Place

this season!

Free People Surf Collection

One of my favorite brands, Free People, has created a surf collection.  The collection is full of colorful prints and great silhouettes perfect for the California surfer girl.  With rash guards, bikinis, one-pieces, shoes, accessories, and even surfboards, there's no way you could go wrong!  Check out my favorite pieces below!

Santa Monica

I've been living in Southern California for a little over 6 months and its still setting in for me that I'm living in such a beautiful place.  Sunset, ocean, and palm trees are a combination that never will get old.

Forever 21 kimono.  Mossimo tank top from Target.  Forever 21 necklace.  Levi's high rise skinny jeans.  Steve Madden sandals.  Calvin Klein glasses.

Exploring NYC and Teen Vogue Fashion U Express Party

I arrived in New York City armed with a venti Starbucks iced white mocha and two hours of sleep.  But even after flying all night, finally seeing NYC for the first time was exhilarating.

I rode the subway for the first time!

Calvin Klein blazer.  Cynthia Steffe dress from Marshall's.  Enzo Angiolini heels from Macy's.  Forever 21 necklace.  Calvin Klein glasses.

Teen Vogue Fashion U was kicked off with a party at Express.  The event had a dj, snacks, mocktails, and shopping discounts.

Enjoying my delicious mocktail!

I met Andrew Bevan, the style features director at Teen Vogue.

After the event, I went to the top of the Empire State Building.  It definitely put me in an empire state of mind.

I walked through Times Square on my way back to the hotel.

Show My Hands

High waisted jeans are the best.  In a dark wash, they appear a bit dressier.  I paired mine with a black and white patterned blouse that was slightly cropped.

Chloe K blouse from Nordstrom Rack.  Levi's high rise skinny jeans.  Xhilaration oxfords from Target.  American Eagle necklace.  Calvin Klein glasses.

On another note, I got an email saying that I have been accepted to the Teen Vogue Fashion University conference in NYC today!

The 2 Bandits Jewelry

The 2 Bandits has the most incredible jewelry.  I love their necklaces and earrings especially.  I love the southwest and vintage influences.  If I could, I'd buy every piece in their collection!  Comment and let me know which piece is your favorite!

National Anthem

For 4th of July, I went to Cal Expo in Sacramento, CA to watch their amazing fireworks show.  They had bands, vendors, fireworks, and 110 degree weather!

When it's hot, you always need a snow cone!

Arizona dress from JCP.  Forever 21 necklace.  Calvin Klein glasses.

View from our box seats.

Let the fireworks begin!

Hope you all had a great 4th of July!
