Calistoga, CA - February 2019

Visited Calistoga for the second time this weekend. Not only does Calistoga have beautiful scenery and a charming downtown, it’s less than a two hour drive from both San Francisco and Sacramento, which makes it perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway.

Loved seeing all the wildflowers in bloom!

I ordered the Apple French Toast which was basically like eating an apple pie for breakfast. So delicious!

Stopped in St. Helena on our way home. This town is full of cute boutiques, but unfortunately it had just started raining when we arrived so we didn’t stay long. Express sweater. American Eagle jeans. Aquatalia boots. 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag.

Calistoga, CA - December 2018

This weekend I took a trip to Calistoga, CA which is in the heart of the Napa Valley. It was my first time visiting and I definitely will be back again soon! Calistoga is home to some huge wineries if that’s your thing, but I much prefer the small family-style wineries this town has to offer. On my trip I visited Chateau Montelena Winery and Castello di Amorosa Winery. Both of these wineries were huge but had beautiful grounds. However they are more for the sights than the wine. I also visited Vincent Arroyo Winery and Tedeschi Family Winery which were both amazing. Vincent Arroyo had amazing reds and Tedeschi had wonderful whites as well as some red I enjoyed. Both wineries had really friendly and knowledgeable staff and I’m happy to say that I’m now a wine club member at both! Below you’ll find some photos from my trip.
